Sip
Why not? I can log in from work and home at the same time ... also at work I could be using my laptop, tabletPC, or desktop all of which get different IP's. At home, they all go through my router so the IP would be the same but I still could be checking the board from several different machines at times. Especially when I am logged in to my PC at work from home, I sometimes forget which machine I am on so I just surf away. It kinda gets confusing with which file I save where and which IM account I am logged in on what PC ... sometimes I don't even see some IM's for days because of that

Sip
With instant messaging, you have to do it like that since if you are logged in from multiple places, the system wouldn't know where to send you your messages... so that's why Yahoo IM, ICQ, AIM, etc have to enforce one active login per account at a time. But with a forum like this, all you do is post with your account which can be done from any PC. Now obviously you can't log into the chat function from different PCs ... although I haven't tried that yet!!!!
