nairi
"What my heart sings" (Wat mijn hart zingt) by Arno Kranenberg "Documentary in which refugees sing songs from home in the Dutch landscape. Songs full of longing for their family and homeland. They offer recognition and consolation to themselves and others. Sometimes they bring happiness in an insecure existence. In a trailer in an asylum seeker center in Overijssel, the Armenian Felix sings a traditional song on his accordion. He gives strength to his listening compatriots. We need people like Felix to survive." February 12, 2004, HUMAN, Nederland 1, Dutch TV I just now watched it. The traditional song he sang was "Dle Yaman".
