Armat
Western art music - a.k.a. Classical music Here are some suggestions for Classical music that's also "popular" with non-musician audiences: - Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto - Brahms' 1st Piano Concerto - Chopin Nocturnes - Beethoven piano sonatas - Khachaturyan's Spartacus ballet (selections from) - Mozart's Requiem - Vivaldi's Seasons Anoushik j I know you'll love this. One of my all time favorite Bach plus concertos for cello. Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ Das Orgelbüchlein, BWV 639 by the way Khachaturian's piano concertos are incradable

koko
If you like to listen to classical music I can recommend Schumann and his piano work( "Kreisleriana") and as you've mentioned before Beethovens work.. for example "Appasionata". Chopin, Nocturnes and his famous Walses! Tchajkovsky famous piano concertos are really worth listning to as well sometime, if you haven't heard them already! Btw, French techno music or house is the best!! PS. Almost forgot.. Gabriel Fauré his piano quintets and Erik Satie (Gnossienne and Gymnopedie). Schnittke - Piano Concertos, not very famous. But Great music! He made a piece based on armenian litturgy by Gregor von Narek. played his music (a piano/cello quintet) it's lovely , I know there was something armenian about his work it sounded very armenian... Anoushik
Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ Das Orgelbüchlein, BWV 639 Yes Armat, it truly is beautiful. Bach is my favorite composer. There is so much depth in his music. No other composer can be compared with Bach's genius. Karine, Tchaikovsky's 1st Piano concerto is one of my favorite concertos. What type of music is a French techno music?

Could you if possible get a sound clip se we can hear this music.Sounds very interesting. I haven't been able to find sound clip on Schnittke(shnitsel:). I found out, though, that the armenian philharmonic were going to play one of his works (I believe it was the piano consert) celabrating the composers annivercery!! I can just say that it really depends on who is playing/what recording it is...as to how its going to sound in others ears, good or bad, especially when it comes to schnittke.
