Vigil
Yes, everyone should acknowledge the honest advice of Turkey. We all know Turkey has nothing to gain from this venture... I think Turkey should focus on fixing its government before it comments on others. In fact Turkey with that much potential and occupied land should have already been on the top of the economic food chain. Instead like a vampire it sucks the financial blood from America and in the same manner asks to join the EU. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3404963.stm Edited May 31, 2004 by Vigil
Dan
since when is Turkey an expert on racial/ethnic matters? and like you said, Turkey has no gain from this...
Arpa
To the Turk k-u-r-d is a four letter word just as t-u-r-k is to us. In the end one of these four letter words will prevail and we know which. This is onlly a beginning. No. It is a resumption of history where it was temporarily stopped in 1915 and 1920. WE SHALL OVERCOME AND WE SHALL PREVAIL!! We will not rest until that SOB, aka Turk goes back where it came from. Does that mean getting back in their mothers' underwear??!! Arpa
A-r-p-a ? You said it!!! :) Itried to be as civil as I can. The Turks know that expression very well except that they would sauy it something like this: "Go back in the whole that you came from". Stormig
What do you call Turkish spoken with a Kurdish accent? Turdish.
bellthecat
What do you call Turkish spoken with a Kurdish accent? Turdish. Or, as a jackbooted Nazi might have said, "what do you call Yiddish in a German accent? "After we are finished with them we call it silence!" Stormig
Well, I had thought it was brilliant.
bellthecat
It was once, as a throw away line. But not to be repeated again and again. And my point is, you don't really have any moral right to be insulting towards Kurds in a non-constructive way since there is no actual harm they have done you (beyond their moronic treasure hunting) and Turkey has done them a lot of harm. I also think turd = Kurd, but I don't go around making jokes about it, even though I did get robbed once by three particularly turdish Kurds. --- Slightly edited by Sip
America-Hye
Basbug opens his mouth and CACA comes out. Bloodshed if a Kurdish state is established? Why? Because Turkey will attack such a state. It is the Turks who will create the bloodshed he is referring to.

No they haven't done anything wrong except take payment for slaughtering Armenians. Please, don't make them look like docile puppies. Stormig
I was not implying that Kurd=turd. Similarly you could also have come to the conclusion that Turk=turd. Both parties contributed equally to the coiner. I was merely horsing around in a thread where everyone else seems to have put themselves off to pasture.
