Are these folks getting ready for war against Armenia using their soon-to-be obtained new armaments from George Bush and Co? We had it much better under Clinton.

Fox News uses the tactics you claim that I am using. Any guest who states anything not in line with Fox owner Murdoch's conservative philosophy is immediately shouted down. They claim to be "fair and balanced."

 

A few weeks ago Armenia was set to be grouped with terror states by the US Department of Justice. The Bush adminstration was ready to sell Armenians "down the river" to gain favor with the Turkish military regeime.

 

I am sure that you are sitting very comfortably in your upscale home or office. I know your kind.

Even if I was ever in the Oval office with Clinton alone, we would be talking only politics. Clinton's interest in the area you allude to is with women between the ages of 20 and 40. I do not fit either consideration.

 

What I like about Clinton is his job performnce. He created a sustained vibrant economy which lifted all the economic ships in the US. He appreciated and rewarded talented people of whatever background. Bush has devastated the economy and rewards only those who adhere to his narrow religious and conservative political agenda. However, other than McCain's distorted military views concerning Armenia, I really like the views of McCain. Bush has turned out to be a greater enemy of Armenia than McCain would have been. That is the difference between honest men like Clinton and McCain and who we got.

The reason that I exercise my ills here is because I have realized that I can not get away from the fact that I am an Armenian. Why to be born to a nation of imbeciles? Why do so many of us run (not walk) away from their heritage? What is it about the de-righeur mentality imposed by our so-called leaders that drives so many out? There are so many "former" Armenians out there, many of whom have made their mark upon the world in various fields of endeavor.

Hagarag - as much as I agree with some of the critiscism others have made of you I do think you do occasionally make a good point or two (though many Jews act in exactly the manner you ascribe to Armenians - they have the benefit of a much less judgemental [hard to believe - when reading the old testament - but true in practice - then Armenians - and this I think is the Armenians cheif downfall - their judgementalness {if thats a word...}]. I think that you need to concentrate on style of delivery (and not always preening yourself before us...). It is also obvious that you have a great many issues. Perhaps counseling/meds(?) will help...

Extensive counseling I have had. Meds only poison the temple within which God temporarily placed our souls.

 

The mantle I have placed upon myself is "shock-jock." In real life I am quite shy. When you see your people collectively rushing like a bunch of lemmings toward national genocide, shock-jockism is the only way to get their attention.

Hagarag - somehow I think this forum is really not the correct audience - and much like Ara - you both at times seem to miss the mark (or at least only focus on a portion) and your "audience" is likely to dismiss you anyways...for a variety of reasons.

 

I feel bad about about dissing on you - you seem nice/friendly and all - and are obviously educated and have some insights etc - but your delivery is really rather lacking and you really bring it upon yourself. Do you see this as part of your (overall persecution) complex as well? And I should add paranoia....just a bit, no...LOL

 

I actually agree with much of what you say - perhaps not in full - and I think you often overstate your point quite a bit...anyway...(shock-jock - LOL)

At the tender age of 30, I was in a relationship with a beautiful young lady who went on to become a DA and marry one of the most famous trial attorneys in America. Another woman in my work group developed a fatal attraction to me. She stalked me day and night, even renting an apartment a few doors down from my residence, to seek out why I was not interested in her offers of accompanying her to the ballgame with tickets she had bought. I was in a relationship with a woman that I loved. I was still searching my soul and experimenting. I was involved with a few passing same-sex liaisons about that time. When told her that I was involved with another woman in the office she went on a rampage. A young Hispanic guy in the office who already hated Deukmejian, all Armenians, and me (who had gained the respect of my supervisors), initiated a campaign of harassment when he found out from this woman that I had also tallied with men.

 

This issue followed me for years. I was told by supervisors in diffrent jobs that despite my excellence in doing my job, no manager could ptomote me into a management job because of repercussions that would ensue from complaints against "my kind." You call it paranoia, I call it the REAL world.

Sh*t happens but there's no point in bringing your looks, your sexual orientation, what came about due to these, etc., over and over again. Tell once, tell twice, thrice, maybe four times, but for the umpteenth time? A lot of people experience ridiculous things, maybe even prejudice and racism - not just you. You're not the only person to have things to complain about in this world or even on this board alone.

Everywhere I go, your posts seem similar. I can even start to predict them and their structure, the way they will continue and end given the way they've started.

The Republicans turned everyone's attention to Clinton's sexual exploits in order to gain advantage to win the election in 2000. Millions of American tax dollars were spent to investigate Clinton's sexual exploits. No financial wrongdoing was ever found. Clinton conducted his job honorably. If you cheated on your wife would you admit it to the whole world? Whose business is it anyway but his wife's? Maybe the Democrats should appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate the secret sexual exploits of the Republicans, many of whom have trysts with young women not their wives and some even with other men.

When the Armenia Church starts to minister to all of the families in pain, when not only the very prominent are listened to, when we gather all our people together as a team. Do I really care that you are annoyed? Do I think that you are listening to the basic premise of my arguments? Until that time I will drone on an on, just like Baliozian does with his arguments. You must say that I have gotten your attention, haven't I? Even if it is negative attention.
