Robert Kocharian's message read: "I am happy to offer my warmest congratulations to you on the occasion of your being elected the 43rd President of the United States. I hope that the deep relations that have been formed between our countries will be further strengthened. Armenia highly appreciates the United States efforts aimed at promoting democracy, peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus.
