Foreign detainees to have video call opportunity

The government has made amendments and additions to the previously made decision, creating additional opportunities for the detainee to maintain contact with family and the outside world.

As a result, many international documents will be maintained. Accordingly, foreign detainees or convicts whose close relatives cannot visit them, as well as detainees or convicts whose close relatives cannot benefit from a short visit, provide twice twenty minutes’ video call, twice per month.
