gamavor
What is happening right now in Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Swiss and other countries in Europe is something that we at Hyeforum have been warning all along the past decades. We knew with whom Europe should deal with. And yes if the West did not ignore all the signs of what is coming to their end, maybe everything would have been different. Without trivializing the issue the recognition of the Armenian genocide should have happened in the early 90s, immediately after the end of the Cold war, but not as a blanket declaration, rather an approach which should have dealt with the consequences of the genocide experienced by the ethno-religious groups in Turkey and the Middle East. After all these years finally the democracy arrived in Turkey, but in the Turkish context (power to the people) democracy means power to the majority of the Turks, who are marginalized, uneducated, backward populace whose moral standard is Islam and their only vision for the future is dominance. Fear is a bad adviser and tolerance for the sake of tolerance is a death sentence.
Yervant1
Turks scream democracy in Europe in order to get their way, but fail miserably in their own country. Better Europe wake up before it's too late.
onjig
I wonder is there a way out of what they've, Europe, gotten into or this it~a peaceful invasion forever?
Yervant1
It's an invasion alright but peaceful I think not. It's just a matter of time unless Europe changes their welfare system, once the freeloading stops economic migrants will stop. This started in the sixties, people in the middle East found out about the freebies in Europe where you get welfare help before contribution. The system is OK if you are born there and contributed to it by your taxes then you get some of it back, but now people are coming grown up and cashing in on the help hence the resentment by those who contributed, plus the newcomers are not integrating to the way of the host country because of big cultural differences.
