If people stand up, Serzh Sargsyan cannot do anything

Nikol Pashinyan gave the names of political prisoners on Khorenatsi street. Citizens gathered there gave a storm of applause after each name.

Pashinyan then urged the crowd to ignore all drunk and unruly protesters and even ask police officers to remove them from the area.

 

After his speech, Pashinyan was asked by journalists whether he was ready to coordinate the process of power change, he said, “If people think that the change of power is necessary today, then I shall do it. I have already said that I am ready to execute any decision of our people.”

He added that if people stand up, Serzh Sargsyan will be unable to do anything.

20.03 People are again gathering on Khorenatsi Street which is already full of police officers.

A car with an Armenian tricolor has popped up in the street, with the anthem of Paruyr Hayrikyan’s National Self-Determination Union party being heard from it over loudspeakers.
