Loan is not enough

For the smooth implementation of the NKR Government’s activities, 1.5 billion drams’ allocation within the frames of “Interstate loan to the NKR” project will be provided several months in advance.

Today at the Government sitting Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan said that in 2015 the Government allocated 23 billion 633.5 million drams loan to the NKR. But the abovementioned amount is not enough for funding the projects planned by the NKR Government in the first half of the year.

The Government today approved a new loan agreement, according to which EUR 51 million will be allocated to the Ministry of Transport and Communication for the reconstruction of M6 interstate highway, which includes 90 km road section between the city of Vanadzor in the central part of Armenia and Bagratashen in the northeastern border of Georgia.

According to another decision of the Government, 24 million 208 thousand drams will be allocated to State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre adjunct to the Government of the Republic of Armenia
