Karabakh: 32 Armenians killed, 25 missing, 121 wounded

According to the latest report received by Nagorno-Karabakh’s Defense Ministry 32 Armenian servicemen have been killed in the three-day clashes between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces.

Twenty-five servicemen are said to be missing since the start of hostilities on April 2. As many as 121 servicemen were wounded in the skirmishes since the escalation of the Karabakh conflict, Victor Arustamyan, Colonel Viktor Arustamyan, head of operations department of the NKR Defense Army, told a news conference in Stepanakert this evening.

He said that Azerbaijan continued to violate the ceasefire on April 5 and 6, using tanks, mortars, rocket launchers and other weaponry.

Arustamyan added that the armed forces of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic keep the situation in control.
