Spoke with Glendale Public Library special event coordinator today. Dr. Gregorian lecture on Sunday is "sold" out. No more seats available. (he will be on AMGA TV tomorrow on the Larry Zarian show and also the ANC will have a some type of gathering for him on Friday evening)

There are still few seats available for Professor Balakians event.

Also, just finished Road To Home by Dr.Gregorian and it is a very nice book to read.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well, just got back from the Prof. Balakians speech and book signing. Had the opportunity to speak with him briefly. Very nice gentleman.

His speech was very elegant and powerful. Really enjoyed it.

Couple of notes(I know this will make Fadiushka happy). He is on his second draft of the scrip for a movie based on his memoirs(Black Dog of Fate). Also is completing a book again on the Genocide for High Schools called "History of the Authorities: The Armenian Genocide" and with his help Henry Morgenthau memoirs are re-released again on paperback and will be available in a day or two.

BTW: Dr. Gregorian speech last weekend was just unbelievable as well. What a GREAT speaker. I think the book is a must read for everyone especially the young to realize what great education can do for one.
