THOTH Posted October 17, 2003 Report Share Posted October 17, 2003 'Bruin - I hear ya loud & clear ...and agree 100%...for one thing - the last thing I want to see is for gals to be just like guys...I mean really now...that is a turn off (from my perspective)...I'm talking more about being judged for attitudes & behavior etc (and for always having to be submissive towards men/in public etc - that sort of thing)- and for what you do here - expressing yourself (its very refreshing to see...). And concerning being promiscuous - I also agree - that too is a turn off (when overdone...and perhaps there is a semantics/definitional issue - I see nothing wrong at all with having mutiple partners in life etc..in fact I think people should to experience variety & such...and for finding who you are compatable with - etc - but just "sleepng around with anyone...being too easy etc - no...not a good thing...not even a safe thing at all anymore... ) - and agree that many guys are way overboard in that regard (probably surprised hearing that from me...but I truly believe it and have never been such myself). I'm all for people (men & women) being wild and having fun with their partners - thats what life (or an aspect of it) is all about...and being "freaky" -- again "you go girl!!!!"...I mean - I think you have the right idea...have fun, be wild ...its great...let your hair down, and get down with it as it were (man does that sound like I'm old? I'm sure I could have said this in a more "hip" way for the times eh? LOL)...and most importantly - people should mind their own business and not judge others (or stare or what have you. ..make judgements etc)...and they need to lighten up a bit (just in general) IMO.... ExtraHye Posted October 17, 2003 Report Share Posted October 17, 2003 yeah extrahye, we do! some armenians have 'staring problem' (not limited to armos only!) <_< but i remember back when i was going out with this guy, and we would be out at night totally care free have some drinks and start kissing and these dumb, jealous girls would be looking at us (armenians in this case!) and i'd be like wtf?? so i'd turn my back to them and kiss him some more!! it's like get a life, close your mouth, and turn your head! i'm not straddling him for god's sake! ~~they were just jealous 'cause he was so cute! I remember a similar incident happened with me a while ago <_< . My boyfriend at that time and I were at the park kissing . All of a sudden I hear this Armo lady saying "They should be ashamed of themselves, doing God knows what in public" lol . Oh she had her little kid with her, so she was closing his eyes so he wont get corrupted I guess. lol that reminds me!! never wear white at night!! you just stand out!!!like a neon sign!! it happened to me one time, i was out walking around a park with this guy i was seeing at the time (and when you move, you're even more visible!! )...so, his friend was apparently there parked with some girl and he noticed his friend because of my white pants!! i thought that was just hillarious!! ---and we never saw them either!--you never know who's around!! I'm just out here trying to live, and enjoy life and different ppl. As hard as it can be sometimes, i try to enjoy the experience and perspectiv that being around armenians can offer me. I mean truth be told those that get to know me never have a problem. Most cats are cool. I live in N.
