We had spoken about Raymonds obssession with religion. See my post under the topic of "Raymond Damadian" under Famous Armenians.

Could it be that he may have insulted his feloow scientists with his Christian fervor. The irony is that one of those who stole his well deserved prize is a descendant of the tribe who claim to have written that ridiculous book where the likes of Damadian find their religious fervor.

I am VERY familiar with the term. It is usually reserved for autistic children who can play piano like a Mozart, yet can not put two words together.

 

The whole of humanity are idiot savants. Very successful businessmen who gorge themselves at Armenian restaurants until they get coronary disease at a young age. Professionals who Pavlovian-like swallow the unnecessary medications their doctors proscribe for them for years untiil they get cancer.

 

Damadian is no different. Brilliant in one area but an idiot in another.
