The leadership has seen the light and is not listening to the ayatollahs this time around. They are set to take over the Governorship. This will fare well for Poochigian, who is more of a pragmatist (as Deukmejian was when he won, as opposed to the ideologue he is today). It will also fare well for Samuelian. If Arnold can be viewed for his potential, instead of for his locker room orgies and his being photographed by a notorious homosexual photographer, then Samuelian can be seen as a good Republican. Who put these ayatollahs in charge anyway? When Bush dumped Racicot for Atty. General and drafted Ashcroft, I decided to vehemently opposed his Presidency.
