Nuclear weapons? This must yet to be the blackest of blackmails ever. The fallout from Hiroshima and Nagasaki was strongly felt over the US. How far is the US from Japan? Look at the map below. It does not give a scale but my estimation is that Baghdad is less than 500 km from TelAviv, that is less than 300 miles. Yesterday I drove 200 miles to work, 100 miles each way. Of course, they can drop an A-bomb on Damascus. How far is Damascus from Jerusalem?Some people prophesied Armageddon, the end of the world. Unless some people have the ability to travel to Mars or Jupiter and send their missiles from there they will also be part of the is world.Let us count the times we have heard about the imminence of WWII only in the last 50 years. Here are some of the major one off the top of my head; Korea, Vietnam, Yugoslavia..... Iraq. Or was there a WWIII already whe I was sleeping?Russia has always wanted to get to warmer land/sea. No war is going to happen in the foreseeable future simply because Turkey is (unfortunately) part of NATO. Attacking Turkey would be like attacking most western countries (including the USA).
