Ca Republicans Clean Their Mess

If the looney right in California had stifled themselves in the last Gubernatorial election, a Republican would now be sitting in the Governor's mansion in Sacramento. But they are such fanatics that they couldn't stomach Riordan and therefore gave Davis the job.

 

So far these loonies, which include a number of Armenians, from foaming at the mouth Rev. Yeghia Hairabedan in the north to former Assembyman Howard Kaloogian in the south are keeping their rabid mouths shut about Arnold's moderate social politics. Only time will tell if these "termites" come out of the woodwork after Arnold becomes governor, as they surfaced after Pete Wison became governor.

i´m half Armenian/assyrian from sweden and i like to know if you Armenians are against a Assyrian land in the M.E?

My mother is from armenia and my father is assyrian.

I am also part Assyrian on my mother's side. I know too well the history of the Assyrians. They have been treated brutally by the regimes of both Turkey and Iraq. They should have their own nation in the ME. There is no reason that the Kurds AND the Assyrians could not both be established as nations in portions of Iraq and Turkey.

Just to let you know that the two Armenian Democratic Congresspersons the US, Anna Eshoo and Adam Benjamin, both have/had Armenian mothers and Assyrian fathers. Both are/were highly respected in the Congress by both Democrat AND Republican members. The 100% Armenian members, Stephen Boghos Derounian and Charles (Chip) *****yan were Republicans. Republican Congressman Sweeney is 1/4 Armenian. Domino recently stated in this forum that Derounian's mother was Moslem, but my mother dated his brother in her early twenties and she never stated to me that their mother was Moslem.
