Key To Names Of Persons

We know that the Blue Book censure names of persons by replacing them by Mr. A, Mr. B etc... in Sonyel work discrediting the Blue Book it is indrectlly refered that everyone can invent persons and calling them Mr. A, Mr. B etc... but all those denialists individuals, all but one(McCarthy, that just use it to retrieve from it Armenian and Greek names to discredit the rest of them, and doing that silently and refering it in a conferences) does not refer to the fact that Bryce and Toynbee released pages that they untitled Key to Names of Persons that gives those references about the names.

 

So, the names of the witnesses exist, thosefor rejecting those claims that they were nonexisting persons, claims that McCarthy even proposed, contradicting himself later in an interview.

 

An uncensured Edition of the Blue Book has been published by the Gomidas institute, that used the Key to Names of Persons and Places Withheld from Publication in the Original Edition of "The Treatment of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, 1915-16" (That is the title, not a quote, and a long one.)

 

On the introduction by Ara Safarian(who as well edited the work), at pages ix-x, he present the Denialist historiography refering to Sonyel(which BTW is the principle individual that has tried to discredit the Blue Book, others have used him for their own study). Safarian end up that section(about denialist historiography), after refering to documents proving the authenticity of the Blue Book:

 

Sonyel simply ignores these key materials and asserts that the documents comprising the Bryce and Toynbee volume constituted : second or third-hand sources.

 

To answer to that Ara writes in a footnote attached to that quote:

 

At least forty-one reports that appeared in the British volume can still be found in U.S. Departement of State archives. Most of these were signed statments, and all of them were sent from the Ottoman Empire. Fifteen of these reports were written by American consuls, ten by American missionaries, and eight by other nationals (four of whom were German). Six were from undisclosed sources and two were from an Armenian political party.

The same above mentioned conference that McCarthy was part of, which sources he has used to discredit the Blue-Book? Of course ignoring the rests, he didn't lost the occasion to use the 2 ones from Armenian political parties refered by Safarian.
