Sip
I thought I would pass along this piece of info in case you know someone who is being tempted to give these $10 digital cable descrambler things that are being sold on eBay a try for "educational purposes" of course Article on MSNBC For a while I couldn't figure out why or how a simple filter that can cost a few cents to build can actually work when cable companies have invested billions in developing digital cable encryption technologies. So this all certainly makes sense now! Also, note that most ebay buyers would leave positive feedback since the thing seems to work temporarily but then you're HIT with a huge bill or the company just shuts down your box and you're in big trouble.
