I remember last year's Christmas

Last year, a week before Christmas I saw my neighbor working on his car. It didn't start, so I helped him fixed the problem. He was a middle-aged Korean man. He invited me for his family's Christmas dinner. I agreed, because you all know that the real Armenian Christmas is in January.

I went there and thought I was the only non-Korean at the party. The man had 4 daughters and one son. One daughter was married to a Japanese and the other a Chinese. Other than that, I was the only non-Asian there for that moment. Then, the youngest daughter came home with a black guy. All their relatives stared at her like something was wrong. The black guy raised both his hands up and says--What's up? You all don't know me? The young daughter was laughing. Big deal? We were all talking and snacking. Moments later, one of their aunts came running out and hysterically said something. The son dashed into the kitchen and a fistfight erupted between him and the black dude. The son got knocked. The father went and got knocked as well. Me and this other Korean dude went in and warned the black guy that we were about to call the cops and asked him to leave immediately. He and the Korean girl left. Gosh, she had no remorse for what happened to her own father and brother? Before leaving, the black guy also told all of us --Check yo self befo you wreck yo self! I got a thick book and threw it at his bald head. The Koreans restrained both of us. Later, I learned what happened was that the girl and the black guy went inside the kitchen assuming no one was inside. She asked him to do the "nasty" right then and right there. How gross can they get? One of their aunts passed by and heard what was going on. This is the destruction of a seemingly good family. Later that same night, I invited all of them to my backyard for kebab. Most declined for obvious reasons. I felt the pain together with them even though I was Armenian and they were Korean. Hey, this kind of sh.it can happen to any family! As Armenian, I am proud of what we have and we should try to keep it that way.

Oh please....get over it...this isn't about race, it's about family dysfunction... and you of all people should not be involving yourself in it...

yes, we're armenian....but we're also people... and whether we like to admit it or not, we're always people first and armenian second..think about it...

that's all for now..
