khodja
87 years after the beginning of the massive dispersal of the Armenians, a worldwide system of communication is re-creating a massive worldwide community. Armenians emanating from cities with large Armenian communities, as well as, Armenians living in the most isolated places on earth are recreating an Armenian "community" via the internet. I doubt that without the internet our community would have been able to coalesce as well as it has.
Boghos
Absolutely. I wouldn't go as far as calling it salvation, but the Internet's importance for us in the diaspora is incredible. Hopefully a little down the line we'll be engaging more people from Armenia proper.
