Azat
I want one too. Check this out: OQO is coming out with a palm size PC. The major difference is that the OQO device, which will come out in the second half of the year for around $1,000, is a complete Windows XP computer. Along with Windows, it will come with a 5800 Crusoe processor from Transmeta, a 10GB hard drive, 256MB of memory, connection ports for FireWire and USB (universal serial bus), and wireless networking connections through either WiFi or Bluetooth. The screen measures just four inches in diameter, roughly the same size as those on a Palm, but the company will also sell docking stations so that it can be used like a normal desktop or laptop. The device measures 3 inches by 5 inches, is 0.9-inches thick and weighs about half a pound. http://www.oqo.com
Sip
Now that's what I'm talking about Very nice Azat. That thing would be ideal to go in my car. I am trying to stuff a PDA (IPAQ) in there at the moment but a 1GHz PC with a 10Gig drive would sure be nice! I actually did a bit of reading on Transmeta last year ... I decided to pick them as one of my homework projects for a class. They are a very interesting company and their processors are fairly sophisticated ... one of their first "PC" was the SONY Picturebook ... I don't know if you have seen it but it's that cute little laptop the size of a small book with a rotating digital camera on top of the lid. ... hmmmm ... I gotta start saving up !!! It was too small in my opinion to be used for long periods ... but I haven't had any first hand experience with the Crusoe processor. MosJan
#1 Almost every component is external#2 It is small, when typing I press on 2 or 3 buttons #3 It has limited power, I have had more RAM added on it but it’s still not how I like, #4 I get tired and bored of things way too fast Guess it’s the smallest Pc that you can have, if you're on the move, all the time...
