onjig
Coming together is a beginning, working together that progress. Staying together, that's success! Henry Ford Daughter and I lashed together a tripod. We would use larger, longer timbers when we did the well. We made the tripod we would use at the site and added a winch. If the price of installation was a few hundred we would have had it done, but it was thousands so............. This may be of interest to some... onjig
At the house on the hill where we would be installing the pump we, four of us, began. We set up the tripod, there is 380' of 1 1/4" PVC, 4 #10 braided wire romax bound wire 380' in length to power the pump.380' of galvanized steel cable, to pull the pump if ever the pvc should break. Two torque snubbers and 9 cable guards, steel cable and electric wire would be taped every 4'. The PVC sections are 20' long, Yerani would steady the pipe.
onjig
It was hot and windy. We lowered the pump section by section.
onjig
We did it, each had a job, mine was easy, I operated the winch. geenus yev Yerazel moved the blocks the winch held the pipe by, 4' at a time, and taped the cable, Yerani steadied the lengths of pipe. You can see the pit less adapter installed in the casing with the Tee handle not yet removed. In addition to the saving thousands we had the pleasure of working, being together.
