MosJan Posted August 11, 2001 Report Share Posted August 11, 2001 PROCEEDS FROM SAN FRANCISCO OPERA TO HELP RESTORE SCHOOL IN ARMENIAN VANADZOR YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, ARMENPRESS: Part of proceeds from Arshak II opera to be staged in September in San Francisco, USA, will go for reconstruction of a musical school in Armenian town of Vanadzor that was hit by 1988 earthquake. The musical school, once the biggest in the region of Lori, (it had some 500 students), was almost completely destroyed in 1998.
