I see this as a very good experiment with a very amgiguous theme in the cinematography. It feels like the director is trying to emulate Parajanov’s ideas and symbolic language, but is not presenting much. I am not sure what the beginning with the gypsy dance/ritual mélange is about. As raw talent, they are good vocalists, very strong, and they are maturing as I watch them. The children’s choir at the end is a nice touch-- I’m not going to rate it or classify it except to say that these two sisters are genuine in their attempt at being innovative and somewhat true to their origins and national culture. They are moving more and more in that direction. I can see from their personal life that they no longer are associated with the otaramol Artur G. crowd, which is really a good thing. I saw their live performance here in Pasadena, and they are very good on stage, very daring and confident. I am hoping they truly get the (administrative, financial, production consultation, and so on) support they need in the future. Առաջին անգամ լինելով, այս երկու քույրերը շոշափելի աստիճաի հասունացում ցուցաբերել: Ես ուրախ եմ որ փորձեր են անում: Բավականին փորձեր են անում հայկականը տարբեր երանգների մէջ պատկերացնելու հարցում: Բնածին լավ տաղանդ են, շատ լավ ձայնով, շատ նուրբ զգայարաններով որոնք իրենց հանել են Արթուր Գ-ի ազդեցության ոլորտից: Դա շատ բան է ասում այս ժամանակմներում երբ զգում եմ որ «ինկուբատոր»ական վիճակ է ստեղծվել հայկական «ժամանակակից» երգարվեստի մտնոլորտում/շրջանակում, որտեղ մի տեսակ երանգային հոսանք է իշխում, ոնց որ նուն կոմունիստն է նստած, մոսկվաից թելադրում թէ ինչպիդի մշակումներ անեն, ինչպիսի բեմական ձեւեր անեն: Այս երկու քոյրերը կոտրել են այս հոսանքը իրենց մէջ, եւ ես իրենց ողջյունում եմ: Իհարկե միշտ ել կարելի է ճաշակի մէջ անհամաձայնության կետեր գտնել, բայց իրենց էությունը որպես անկախ արվեստի ներկայացուցիչներ, որոնք նայեվ որպես երտասարդ ու թարմ ձայներ ուզում են հայկականը տանել նոր գույների ու ճանապարհի վրա, դա իմ համար մեծ արժեք ունի: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
