MosJan Posted February 19, 2002 Report Share Posted February 19, 2002 ARMENIAN BRANDIES WIN NEW AWARDS The first presentation was held on Monday at Yerevan’s Nairi cinema house that resumed operation after almost a decade of idleness. The event was dedicated to Armenian Great Valley company that has won new awards at an international food exposition in Moscow, called Prodexpo. High level executives, government and parliament members attended the presentation ceremony. The presented brands of brandy, the main product, issued by the company, such as Kars, Great Valley and Gavar, have won several awards and medals in the recent years, however, the biggest fame was won by Tigran Mets, thirty year-old Armenian brandy. Its last award was the Grand Prix in Moscow.
