Azat
Armenia has become the 145th member of the World Trade Organization, one month after the country's parliament ratified the accession documents. Armenia's membership follows 10 years of negotiations on entry into the global trade body. The WTO's General Council approved the accession package for Armenia on December 10, 2002. Other former Soviet republics to have joined the WTO are: Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan. Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan are all in the process of negotiating their terms of accession. I am against the WTO, IMF, etc.
Anonymouse
Yea, the WTO is just another globalist blood sucking entity, like the IMF, and World Bank. All it does is entraps nations in endless debt.
GuitARA
Yea, the WTO is just another globalist blood sucking entity, like the IMF, and World Bank. All it does is entraps nations in endless debt. Central and So.American economies are a great example. They have been devastated by these huge, multi-national corperations. Mexico (and others) is no better off today than it was before NAFTA, to say nothing about pollution and considerable environmental damage and waste that has been left behind for the native peoples to live in and deal with. Now the greedy CEOs want to spead their disease to "New Europe" and the Caucas states.
