Paul bunyan
In these days of uncertainty before the summit at Geneva it certainly seems that time is of the essence Armenian refugees must be resettled in the lands that were always theirs before the turk-azeri first ever genocide the so-called 'occupied lands' Zangelan. Fizuli, Agdam, kashatar, marzes as fast and as throughly as possible before the inevitable US coerced 'settlement' is forced upon the Armenians a fund of money should be raised and various experts detailed to assist the Armenians in resettling their own land perhaps an appeal to Kirk Kirkorian of MGM fame might bring results

Paul bunyan
Hello Aaron, welcome to the forum I am glad that somebody is responding to my question "Time, horribly fleet footed, will wait for no one" so its imperative that Armenians resettle the areas between the Armenian Republic and Artsax with as many Armenians: refugees, Armenians from the Republic, from Iraq, Iran, and American Armenians, whose skills and experience growing up in one the best democracies ever will be of a great help, as possible these regions which have only a small population of people, just Armenians must be filled up as fast as possible to avoid allowing azeris to come back and one day "finish the job" the genocide their hero heider alyiev started back in the 1960s after all you can't tell Carey Cavanaugh and Condolezza Rice and the rest of them that the azeri can't come back to Kovsakan or Kashatagh when there is plenty of land I propose that money would be raised a trust set up with the Armenian General Benevolents Union that would tap money and skill resourses from Armenians and especially the rich and powerfull volunteers would be given sections of each regions Kovsaksan, Kashatagh, Karvajar, etc. to develope farms schools jobs it can be done cheaply if expensive gas and conventional electricity are eliminated in favorof solar and hydro power and cob earth houses which are naturally cool in summer and warm in winter crops willbe grown to feed the settlers settle the taxes and provide revenue from sayflower sales cheaply grown high quality Armenian flowers sell well in europe there other industries such as stone quarrying and lumber harvesting are already there in operation if none of the refugees want work on farms Armenia can't keep the US brokered "solution" away indefinately, the resettlment will keep the azeri out the strategic space between Armenia and its sister republic Artsakh so that they can never again attempt a "divide and conquer" approach in their"final solution" plansany other interest in the resettlementplans the developement of these regions would be of great benefit to both Armenia and Artsakh and would ensure jobs, prosperity, and place to emigrate to for oppressed Armenians any thoughts,? comments? suggestions?how about it readers? Aaron
Hi Paul! I heard your call about resettlment in artsakh. There is already such a program going on, but on a smaller level. It consists of populating one or two villages in the regions close to Arax river just close to the armenian bordernear zangezur. The person responsible for this project came to Canada and expained his plans to the public. Also, the government of Karabagh is trying as hard as possible to relocate refugees in numerous "strategical" areas of Karabagh. Its a long term plan.Try to elaborate your's, I want to know what steps you think should be taken to succeed in this project. For my part, I don't think its the thing to do NOW, before serious peace talks, it could be seen as provocation by the Azeris because of the whole refugee return problems. I wait for your answer by the way my name is Aaron and i'm new to this forum Hi everyone!
Paul bunyan
Aaron, this canadian mans efforts to settle Armenians in two towns in the one of the reclaimed regions near the Zangezour area of Armenia could you tell us more about it? The plan I haveenvisioned would be to settle around 100 people in an abandoned town or some suitable place and start up a nursery for tree growth industry: trees grown for high quality furniture lumber, firewood, and fruit and of course grain crops to provide food for the settlers through baked breads, rolls, cakes, available from the town bakery. farm animals will be needed, sheep for meat and wool, goats for meat and milk, oxen for plowing, much cheaper than a heavy polluting, gasoline tractor. Vegetables would be grown as well, in order to make this plan work to provide an established base for the town to endure and thrive no more than 1,000 people maximum can live there as socialologists have proven that beyond this number small towns start to lose the sense of community that keepstownspeople together.A small amount of townspeople to start with say 100 or so, cob earth houses which are easy to build, cool in the summer, warm in winter, and durable, many cob houses built in England during the 1500s are still intact and lived in today. permacultural farm methods will help to keep the town founding cost to around $5,000 US money goes along way in the Armenland. The cost of setting up Armenian townsthroughout the reclaimed regions between Armenia and Artsakh is not prohibitive. a larger number of towns can be founded by Rich people, a small number of towns paid for by less wealthly people, and cost of one or two towns can be paid for by one or two people of lesser means. An association can be set up to bring all of this to pass.
