Died - 06.11.1961 in Yerevan. Studied in French and American colleges in Constantinople (now Istanbul). Since 1915 - performed in different Armenian theatrical troupes; 1922 - moved to Armenia. Since 1923 - worked in the Sundukyan Drama Theatre of Yerevan. Was one of the leading Armenian cinema and theatre actors.
