It is very pleasing to discover his consistent growth over the last decade. Here is a brief bio of his: Tigran MARTIROSYAN Tigran Martirosyan was born in Erevan on June 2, 1970. In 1995 he graduated from the Gnesiny Russian Musical Academy of Moscow (A. Eizen's class). In 1993 he became a soloist of the Moscow municipal theatre New Opera. In 1996 he was admitted to the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. • Winner of the First Prize of the All-Russia Competition of Russian Music (1992)• Winner of a diploma and of a special prize of the 10th Tchaikovsky International Competition (1994)• Winner of the second prize of the Competition of the Queen of Norway Sonya (Oslo, 1995)• Winner of the Khristov International Young Singers Competition (Sofia, 1996) His repertory includes: King Rene (Tchaikovsky's "Iolanta"), Ramphis (Verdi's "Aida"), Pimen (Musorgsky's "Boris Godunov"), King of Clubs (Prokofiev's "Love for Three Oranges"), Galitsky (Borodin's "Prince Igor"), Raymondo (Donicetti's Lucia di Lammermur").
