Sad!! Really Sad!!

Ever since the Issue of the Big G became a matter of "we said, they said", "was it or was it not", ever since that day we have not had even one memeber to talk about the real issues and culture. This forum has turned into a chit chat, idle talk about one's daily habits. We have not had even one post about Culture, Literature etc. except talkin about "tti oghi", "vodka", "konyak" and more. All my desperate attempts to urge our readers to get back to real issues have been met with contempt and derision.

Do we really need this HyeForum or shall we all go to "facebook" (I have no idea what its, neither do I want to know), and talk trash?

My impression of the day- I woke up this morning, I went to the bathroom, and now I am drinking my gavath of sourj.

I don't think you want to know what I do the rest of the day?:P :D It is my business, why would I bother anyone else?

Arpa, you make a good point. Recently most of us have been coming here for chit-chat and stimulating discussions seem to be thing of the past (for most of us). But please don't be quick to blame. I think most of us have pretty hectick lives and only find time to drop by, read some of the topics, make a quick response, or a few words of chit-chat and then we jump right back into our crazy lives again. It's sad, I know, but we just don't seem to have the time that one needs to spend on analyzing a topic and then writing a cohesive opinion.

This may sound crazy at 35 but sometimes I catch myself eagerly looking forward to retirement ... when I can spend more time traveling, reading, writing and - why not - expressing my opinions on discussion boards.

Dear Nane, we know that you are busy singing "nenni" lullaby, oror to your bautiful baby.** I do understand your dilemma. I have been there, when I would not see family and friends for days, let alone read and write. We have had so many 16 year olds here whose main interest was "where did Armenians come from. Are Armenians a turkic tribe". It is about time we get back to real issues, and the purpose of this Forum, to teach the world about US by mature and intellectual people like you and few others. Rather than talk about our daily, I hate to be more graphic, bathroom habits. How come we don't write about History, Culture, Literature and more? Is it because the entire world already knows who Tigran, Saryan, Komitas, Varuzhan, Sevak et al are?

When the topic of the Big G was hot we would have our friends write 20 page comments, and since then all we get one or two phrses about silly daily routines?

I do understand and appreciate your dilemma, just as the dilemmas of our other friends.

Yes I do have all the time to delve deep. I have earned it and I deserve it.

I remember when at one time one of our associates told this lovely old gentleman that there would be a 10 minute wait. The GENTLE MAN said- "SWEETHEART, TAKE ALL THE TIME YOU NEED. I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE, AND I HAVE ALL DAY TO GET THERE!"

** All other videos are barely audible.
