Ծննդյան խորհրդին. «Այսօր մենք նշում ենք մի ծնունդ, որը գալիս է պարզաբանելու և լույս սփռելու մարդկային բոլոր ծնունդների խորհուրդների վրա: Քրիստոսի ծննդի լույսի ներքո մեզ համար ընկալելի է մարդկային ծննդյան և մահվան խորհուրդը: Առանց Քրիստոսի ծննդյան սրբազան խորհրդի մենք չենք կարող հասկանալ որտեղից եկանք, ինչու ծնվեցինք և ինչու ենք մահանում մեր երկրավոր կյանքն ավարտելուց հետո: Ահա Քրիստոս իր հրաշափառ ծննդյամբ գալիս է իմաստ ու բովանդակություն հաղորդելու մարդկային կյանքին:Հաճախ կյանքը մեզ համար անիմաստ ու աննպատակ է թվում` զրկանքներով, տառապանքներով ու դժվարություններով լեցուն. կյանքը, կարծես, ներկայանում է մեզ տառապանքի մի հովիտ, մի վայր, ուր մենք ամենքս եկել ենք զրկանքներ, կորուստներ ու անհարմարություններ կրելու: Սակայն Քրիստոսի ծնունդը գալիս է հաստատելու և վճռականորեն արձանագրելու, որ կյանքն ունի իր բովանդակությունն ու իմաստը»:Պատարագի ավարտին կատարվել է նախատոնակ, որից հետո Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետը Տիրոջ Սուրբ Ծննդյան և Աստվածհայտնության ավետիսը, ապա և Միածնաէջ Տաճարի Ս. Սեղանի լույսը փոխանցեց Մայր Աթոռի միաբանությանը և ներկա հազարավոր հայորդիներին:Մինչև ուշ գիշեր բարեպաշտ ժողովուրդն այցելում էր տոնական լույսերով ողողված համայն հայության հոգևոր կենտրոնը և Մայր Տաճարի կանթեղներից իրենց օջախները տանում մեր Տիրոջ Ս.
