Arpa
Gzgzvats Peturner.Ruffled Feathers. You will notice that both "petur" and "feather" are derived from the Latin "pter" as in "pteroptera", the phylum of all birds. From here we go to "trril/trchil"(to fly) and "trchun"(flying object, bird). Please go to Language to see more. The Ottoman Empire has been in decline for a long time. It has been "sick" even longer, but it has never been sicker as now. Decline usually follows by demise but those lucky dogs have been spared that elusive fatal demise for much too long. If it was not that "Evil Empire" it was the "Axis of Evil" that kept the feathers of that turkey in array. It is high time, their feathers are ruffled as never before, not even 26 billion dollars could hold them together. The world is finally learning what holds those feathers together. The world is finally learning that even though Turks may pretend to be civilized and ready to join the westren world, that their heart belongs in the Islamic world. BTW. What does "secular muslim" mean? Is it something like "JudeoChristian"?This is the time to hit. This is the time to show the world waht kind of birds those turkeys are. It is time that that "turkey" went the way of the Dodo. Too bad Yerevan has its own "peturs gzgzvats" and is in no condition to hit those SSOs when they are down. Will America still think that Turkey is the proverbial bluebird of happiness or finally see it what it really is, a dirty rotten bird of prey. Arpa
quote:Originally posted by Stormy:Arpa, You are one strange bird. You mean "mi artarots trchun"?Or, if you mean "strange" as "otar" you will not be the first one. In fact, were you the one that doubted my ethnicity, thought I was a non-Armenian with an extrordinary command of the language? As above, you will not be the first doubting my ethicity and loyalty as many have not been able to understand my "unorthodox" views.Whatever! You give credence to the cliche: "birds of a father flock together". If you mean you got the intended message in my article then it makes you an even rarer breed (bird) of species as often I feel like a "bird" of another feather, perhaps a dodo whose time has come and flown away, or on an another thought, whose time has not yet come.
