Kazza
Instead of living in cloud cuckoo land and beleiving Armenians and armenian history is blameless and every one else is at fault throughout our history. I used to beleive that with starry-eyed patiotism! We obviously need to tell the truth of the things that have happenned, even if we have to scream it until the rest of the world understands. (I get so angry still! and I should know better by now) at all those sites that are so blatantly Turkish anti Armenian , nationalist hysteria with no real structure or evidence. I think we have a few links even in our archives. But never mind, I think you all know the attitude I mean. But I beleive that if we want to grow and improve we need to at the same time admit to our own mistakes we must have made in other parts of history. I dont know of many but I'm sure some of you guys can come up with some. Not DENY anything that says something negative about armenia or armenian history, just because is negative. Just because we have gone through hard times, making it alright to push aside mistake we might have made in other arts of armenian history apart from the genocide. That attitude gets me pissed off , but the funn thing about it is , we also bury our heads in the sand about the wrongs that Turkish government have done because we find it painful to face. Most of this I feel hs to do with pride. Other anti- armenians might be less hostile afterwards because in the long run they were probably angry about that. Then afterwards we might even begin to start moving on, and building good relations between armenians and others. If we will allow ourselves and the stubborn ones will not hold us back!! At the end of the day that is what we all want I guess?
