It has about 10 flags on it, including Iranian, Lebanese, Israeli, etc. No Armenian flag or reference. However, It is using the image of Sasuntsi David monument in Yerevan. I called the owner (see info below) and I very politely requested that he either removes the symbol or properly references it. He said he will not do it, and I should be happy that he is using our symbol. He says he has bought the store from an Armenian and the symbol was already on it. I asked him to remove it nevertheless, or to properly reference it. He refused. Then I said I will sue him for copyright violation, to which he replied, "Go ahead, I will double sue you, and I am Muslim, my name is Hamid, and I will kill you." I am thinking to filing complain with the police department in Glendale, unless he agrees to remove the symbol. Anyone wants to join? One question though - just who owns the copyright (in the U.S.)? - I have this on my wall at home as a poster - I wonder if the Church bookstore where I bought it (or where they got it) has any copyright etc? In any event you should call him back and ask him if he has ever heard of ASALA - Armenians may be nice & friendly & all - but you do not wish to occur their wrath ...tell him that you could make trouble for him...funy - he threatened to kill you - LOL. Just my two cents. It is not worth placing your family in danger for some lunatic and his many incarnations. You never know what these fanatics might be capable of doing. Oh, and they got good yoghurt By the way, MJ, how can you possibly sue for copyright infringement? Who owns the copyright for sansuntsi davit? At one time Ruben has start a program on music and videos – that war sold in Armenian stores – most 80% of the material was made during USSR, after the claps pf USSR - some of our respectable producers start copying and sealing this material – and never paid any royalties to the authors – actors – singers – composers – Ruben was trying to getter some money to send back to Armenia – to all of them who worked so hard - and never have got paid till this day – will it never worked.-----Siaphan jan just by using a Satsuntsy davits symbol his not giving any credit to the author or the nation – his using the symbol to seal more yogurt to Armenians – since some of us will chose this yogurt instead of the other just because of the symbol. ---MJ jan same way our Armenians are abusing the Armenian national flag – You can find many products - that have our Armenian flag on it. I am pointing at a way for Hamid to "lose it." BTW, he claims that he had bought the store from an Armenian, and the image on the can was already there. (Might you know who he was?)
