Another vandalism occurred against the Armenian graves in Turkey.

 

An Armenian cemetery was destroyed to build a new road in the

Eruh region of the country's Siirt (Sghert) Province, the Turkish

Aykiridogrular website informs.

 

Until now, however, an Armenian church-which is located within

the borders of the Kurdish Khert village-was already ruined, and

its continuation was that, instead of restoring the church, the

authorities began destroying the Armenian cemetery situated in the

vicinity of the church.

 

And even though the human skeletons are scattered all over the

area, the persons in charge continue to build roads on the bones

of Armenians.

 

To note, there are numerous cases in Turkey when Armenian cemeteries

have been destroyed, and schools, kindergartens, hospitals, stadiums

and highways have been built there.

The difference betweeen humankind and animals, is that animals don't make tombs for their deads, neither cemetery or graveyards.

Թուրքիայի Սիիրթ նահանգում (Սղերթ) Էրուհի շրջանում թուրքական իշխանությունների կողմից իրականացված հերթական վանդալիզմին են անդրադարձել արտասահմանում ապրող մի շարք հայեր՝ կոչ անելով թուրքական իշխանություններին վերջ դնել այլ մշակույթների, հավատքների հանդեպ անհարգալից եւ սարսափելի քայլերին:

 

Նադյա Ույգունի գլխավորությամբ արած կոչի մեջ արտասահմանում ապրող հայերը արձագանքել են օրեր առաջ Սիիրթ նահանգի քրդական Խերթ գյուղի մոտակայքում գտնվող հայկական գերեզմանի ավերման եւ մահացած հայերի ոսկորները շուրջ բոլորը ցաք ու ցրիվ անելուն:

 

Հայտարարության մեջ հիշատակվել է հիշյալ զազրելի դեպքի կապակցությամբ արտասահմանյան մամուլի արձագանքը, որտեղ կոչ էր արվել. «Մի գնացեք Թուրքիա, հայերի ոսկորները կտրորեք»:

 

«Այդ ամենը մշակույթների, հավատքների եւ մահացածների հանդեպ մեծ անարգանք եւ սարսափելի արարք է: Խնդրում ենք անել անհրաժեշտը՝ վերջ դնելու այդ անմարդկային գործողություններին»,-նշվել է հայտարարության մեջ:

 

Հայտարարության հեղինակները պահանջել են հայտնել, թե ով է այդ ամենը թույլ տվել կամ աչք փակել դրա վրա՝ պահանջելով ավերված գերեզմանը վերականգնել եւ պահպանել:

 

Նշենք, որ NEWS.am-ն ավելի վաղ հայտնե; էր, որ Թուրքիայի Սիիրթ նահանգի Էրուհի շրջանում նոր ճանապարհ կառուցելու համար քանդվել է հայկական գերեզմանոցը:

Armenian Church in Erzrum has turned into stable

YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS: They do not stop in Turkey to eliminate

Armenian historical-cultural monuments in Turkey one after another.

Armenpress reports calling Turkish Haberler.com that Armenian Church

in Azizie district of Erzrum is used by Turks as a stable.

 

About the poor condition of the Church warned local citizens. The

church which is ignored by Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey

has also greatly suffered and damaged in result of adventure of

treasure seekers.

 

The internal walls of the church which was built in the 17th century

are covered by frescos.

 

In 1914 east of modern Turkey (Western Armenia) had about 4,000

Armenian monasteries functioning there. Less than 100 remain standing

today. There are also many Armenian Churches in Istanbul, among them

St. Gregory the Enlightener, Holy Resurrection Armenian Chapel, Holy

Cross Armenian Church and others.

Armenians pay tribute to memory of ancestors in Turkish cemetery

A group of Armenians visited the cemetery in the settlement of Zara in Turkey's Sivas province to pay tribute to the memory of their ancestors, Artsakhpress reports citing Agos newspaper.

According to the source, the cemetery was on the brink of destruction when businessman of Armenian descent Fethi Aras undertook renovation activities.

The municipality of Zara has taken over the protection of the site ever since.

Also, the town chief hosted the group of Armenians visiting the settlement.
