MosJan
Writers from 15 different countries and from the most vibrant Armenian communities around the world have come to Yerevan to participate in the first pan-Armenian writers’ conference. Many of the participants treat this event an organic continuation of the second Armenia-Diaspora conference. Armenian writers think it is time to get over emotions and to move from expressing their love for each other to practical steps. One of such practical steps being, for example, establishment of a pan-Armenian fund for supporting literature. Famous writer and editor of “Marmara” Armenian newspaper in Turkey, Roper Hatechian is confident that the conference in Yerevan is extremely important in terms of getting to know each other and to find out what kind of literature in the Armenian language is being created around the world.
