Today I have read an article written by Khatchig Teolelian (son of Minas Teolelian) who was anxious about the same matter. I want to write him. Can someone help me by his address? dragon Posted March 21, 2001 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2001 Still I haven't read any armenian book that can bring all together all these bad years and experiences that Armenian people lived in Homeland from 1991-1994, the years of cold, ''dzaragudroom'', hunger and darkness. Although the independency gave a new inspiration for some of armenian well-known writers to write about their feelings towards their Homeland, but none of them have had properly touched the issues I mentioned above. The patriotism made them blind. They were visiting Armenia in spring or summer time, enjoying the life there, spending hundreds of dollars in hotels and restaurants, or by being the official guests of the governmental and intellectual societies, they were just expressing their sorrows about the beggers in Armenia, and all of these through their interviews with the local newspapers, radio or TV. Armenian media was out of control that time. There was true madness in the atmosphere...very, very hard time, which must come to the light, to show in clear the attitude, character, psycology and the mentality of Armenian people, dealing with outside and inside EVILS at the same time... In past years, I had the chance to read some books of Diasporan writers about their personal experiences in Armenia, first of 90's...I felt pitty for some of them...they were there, in Armenia, but have seen only the little part of reality...their reality of travelling here and there, meeting this and that, feeling happy to be free of ''nationalism'' trade-mark... I felt sorry for them from bottom of my heart...but I have nothing to say, because they have the power to biult up the public opinion by their books, written only from their side...
