Chenk gernar heshel, chenk gernar mornal:

I knew an Armenian man who as an officer was stationed in Libya the year 1955. He had gone to Adana and a taxi driver, who he said was French, hearing he was Armenian took him to a wire enclosed compound, where women were kept, because he said there were two old Armenian women there. He told me they cried seeing him. They must have been prisoners/slaves for all their lives. He cried when he told me. This has happened when he was a young man and could do nothing for them. I'm sure he remembered this each day of his life until his death, and I have remembered it since that day before Holy Badarak when he told me, he was in the church hall every week but never entered for services. He was happy and friendly with everyone, when our eyes met for the years after, I know we both thought of what we spoke of that Sunday morning.

Excuse me! Let me explain the above post: I watched a video that came up after the video of Armenian art. It was of an Armenian lady exploring the reasons for her Grandmother's tattoos. It was in response to that video I wrote the last post.
