For centuries its carefully written, illuminated and preserved sacred liturature were often burned, destroyed by various barbaric invaders. In 1512 the first attempt to print the Armenian Christian literature was achieved by Hakop Meghapart in Venice. At this 500th anniversary, we present to you the Armenian Church Library, an Armenian online learning experience, where you will find various subjects of books, videos, prayers and more. We have spent many long weeks and much effort to make this website. If you do like it, then please forward this email to your friends, and make our website the place where you can visit to read, view and enjoy our Armenian Orthodox Church's rich legacy. The Library has two main Section: Books: Browse through the books tab to discover dozens of Armenian and English books and studies. (More books will be added in the coming weeks). When I was a little girl my grandmother took us with her to the armenian church in Paris, but since I live far from any armenian community, I have not the opportunityto listen to armenian liturgy.I will show to my French friends who don't know our beautiful church songs, these websites.
