MosJan Posted November 3, 2001 Report Share Posted November 3, 2001 GOVERNMENT INCREASES PENSIONSThe Armenian government approved on Thursday a slight increase in the monthly pensions. The decision sets the basic pension amount at 3,000 Drams (less than $6) instead of the previous 2,860 Drams. Each year of service will add to it 60 Drams. The decision which enters into effect from January 1 next year actually adds 800 Drams to pensions.
