Azat
Oh ya, I just remembered. How many remember the song "Blue Moon"? Well, there is this great pub in New Jersey owned by a nice Japanese couple named "Brew Moon". At first I did not think much about it, but then I got it. After few drinks I asked them about the name and they did confirm that they were just making fun of their "English". Never the less I thought it was a great name for a pub. Sip
quote:Originally posted by nairi: quote:After you solve the problems of Armenia , drop me a line. What problems? Now that's the spirit! I actually find quite a few of our "Armenisms" around in the Hollywood/Glendale areas very fun! Things such as: 1) Sorry and Hollywood (with the o pronounced as in hello)2) the word Verdugo (it's a street and a park)3) Burbank (with the u pronounced as 'oo' and a strong r and the a as in ara) I'm sure there are many more ... just can't think of them right now.
