MosJan Posted September 9, 2001 Report Share Posted September 9, 2001 Aleksanian Becomes New European Champ YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)—Armenian athletes Gevorg Aleksanian and Tigran Martirossian set two new world records and won the gold and bronze medals at the European Weightlifting Youth Championship, held in the Swedish city of Kalmar.
