G. MELIKYAN URGES AZERBAIJAN TO STUDY ITS ROOTS

 

"The Azerbaijani official is highly recommended to study history, surely, not from Azerbaijani sources and to try to find out where the state of "Azerbaijan" has been artificially created," Republican MP Gagik Melikyan told Panorama.am making remarks on Azerbaijani official Ali Hasanov's statement. Ali Hasanov, the head of social-political department in Azerbaijani President's Cabinet stated Azerbaijan helped Armenians in the beginning of the 20th century allowing them to found Armenian state on the historic lands of Azerbaijan. "You know the negotiations are in a phase when the administration of that country would better to concentrate on real processes," G. Melikyan said. The MP underscored famous historical map on the wall of Coliseum, Rome where Artsakh and Armenia can be found, while Azerbaijan cannot.
