Il am very surprised to not find among those famous Armenians the name of Karekin Pasdermadjan, who is a hero of Armenian History.

 

I have been asked where is his grave ; tomb.

I know he died in 1923.

I have the book of Hrand Pasdermadjian, his son who has written a "HISTOIRE DE L ARMENIE" from the origin until the Treaty of Lausanne.

But this book ends at the date of 1920 and I did not find his father's death and burial.

 

I am sure one of you must know.

Karekin Pastermadjian (or Garegin Pastermadjian) (Armenian: Գարեգին Փաստրմաճեան), more famously known by his nom de guerre Armen Karo, was one of the distinguished leaders of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation and an ambassador. He was the son of famous Armenian Haroutiun Pasdermadjian and the grandson of Khatchatour Efendi. He is also the namesake of the Armen Karo Student Association in Canada, which was founded in 2005.

Armen Garo died in Geneva but I am not sure that he is buried there. He also wrote a book about the famous (or infamous) Bank Ottoman event. It is appropriately called "Bank Ottoman".

I did not know he died in Geneva.

I'll ask a friend about his grave, because on our forum, one person said: the Armenians have heroes who don't have a grave.
