The press-service of Holy Echmiadzin named "not true" the information of the Catholic World News agency about the possible meeting of the heads of Rome Catholic Church and Russian Orthodox Church in Armenia. The press-service of the Holy Echmiadzin informed Mediamax that such initiatives have never been and are not being discussed with the leadership of Armenian Apostolic Church. The Vatican officials have noted in the 23 March interview to the Catholic World News agency that the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos Garegin II, enjoys good relations with both the Vatican and the Moscow Patriarchate, so that he might serve as an ideal intermediary in setting up the meeting. --0-- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
