Guest
This is one of the few authentically Armenian dishes I know how to make! 1. Take 1 cup of pitted prunes, a cup of dried apricots, 1 cup of dried peaches, 1 cup of white raisins and place in a pan with cold water, bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer for about 15 minutes. 2. Add granulated sugar(brown is my favorite), lemon rinds, and nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamon to your taste, stir and continue to simmer uncovered until fruit is soft and a syrup begins to form. 3. Place into a bowl and chill well 4. Serve with chopped almonds or walnuts
