It is all in fun but there seem to be many superstitious numerologists who believe in omens , be they good or bad. Many who see it as a god omen are getting married today.

On that day June 6 , 1966, which btw was the birth anniversary of Aram K. I cracked a joke at the office that the day was the “feast of 4 6’s. In the Arabic “arb’a’settat” , beside 4 sixes also means “four ladies”.

I had to explain to my colleagues. That in Arabic “sitteh/six” is also synonymous to “siddeh/lady”

As to 666. At one time, one of my clients who looked highly educated and distinguished, when his change amounted to 666 cents and I pointed to him he almost fainted.

When I brought to his attention that it is only a superstitious myth., that he did not really believe it.

The old idiot countered, “Of course I believe, it is in the Bible”.

My advice to him would have been to stop reading that book of fiction and get on with REALITY.

That the number 6, the sixth sense is only an addition to our 5 senses.

 

Pleas note that following is from a pre-school site talking about the 5 senses, touch, taste, smell, sight and sound. Where is the 6th as in 666?
