Well it took me times to translate it so better to read it all To the ones that would say, yeh right he just used a translator it would take a few second. Then I say take a poem a try to translate it and see what will happen, and if you will understand. Fact I used a translator, but took a hour or so, to correct all the sens mistakes... so the moral of the story... just read it

Ah and forgot if some could correct grammer mistakes, then go ahead.

THEY FELLED

They felled, without really knowing why

Men, women, and children who wanted only to live

With heavy gestures like drunk men

Mutilated, massacred, their eyes open of fear.

They felled while calling upon their God

On the threshold of their church or a step of their door

Like herd of the desert, staggering, as a troop

Lay low by thirst, hunger, iron, fire.

No one raised his voice in an euphoric world

While a people was stagnating in his blood

Europe discovered jazz and its music

The complaints of the trumpets covered the cries of children.

They felled moderately, without sound,

By thousands, by millions, without the world moving for them,

Becoming one moment, tiny red flowers

Covered by a wind of sand and then forgotten.

They felled, their eyes full of sun,

As a bird in flight a ball crashes to pieces

To die wherever and without leaving traces,

Ignored, forgotten in their last sleep.

They felled while believing, ingenuous,

That their children could continue their childhood,

One day they would cross the grounds of hope

In open countries men with tended hands.

Me I am of these people which sleep without burial

Who chooses to die without abdicating his faith,

Who has never lowered his head from the insult,

Who survives despite everything and who does not complain.

They felled to be able to enter in the night

Eternal of times, at the end of their courage

Death struck them, without asking their age

Because they were faulty of being children of Armenia.
