NAKHJAVAN and furkish bases??.

 

(Note the way I spell NAKHJAVAN/ՆԱԽՋԱՒԱՆ. I am convinced that the region was named “nakhj+avan”. We know “avan=town. Some day we will find out who or what “nakhj” was. The region was named “nakjavan” long before we learned the fable of Noah.)

Why do our writers and commentators speak in riddles and enigmas?

Can someone please “translate” what this “քաղաքագէտ” is saying! Unless the real message is lost in translation from russky-armiansky. See both English and Armenian versions. Those who know Russian please click on the version and tell us where the riddle is.

Expert says installment of Turkish military base in Nakhijevan may contribute to return our lost land

Installment of Turkish military base in Nakhijevan may contribute to return an Armenian land given to Azerbaijan in the aftermath of Russian-Turkish deal, political expert Levon Shirinyan told reporters today.

“If the base is installed the issue of Nakhijevan will become tensed. The historical truth will become more evident and the case will be settled under our interests, we’ll return our land allied after Russian-Turkish deal,” Shirinyan said.

At the same time Shirinyan says the installment of Turkish base in Nakhijevan may not happen.

“Nakhijevan has two protector countries – Russia and Turkey. We are not sure if Kars treaty has secret protocol. I’m sure it has, but it’s not unveiled. ”

Միաժամանակ Շիրինյանը Նախիջևանում թուրքական ռազամակայանի տեղակայման հնարավորությունը քիչ հավանական է համարում:

«Նախիջևանը` որպես պրոտեկտոր, ունի երաշխավոր երկու պետություն` Ռուսաստանն ու Թուրքիան: Մենք չգիտենք, Կարսի դաշնագիրը ունի՞ գաղտնի պրոտոկոլ, թե ոչ: Ես գրել եմ, վստահ եմ, որ ունի, սակայն չի բացահայտվում: Ուրեմն այս երկու երկրները չեն կարող ավել քայլեր անել, քան նախատեսվում է, մանավանդ որ Թուրքիան այքան էլ հզոր ու ուժեղ չէ, ինչքան ցույց է տալիս, սա նկատի ունեցեք»,-ասաց բանախոս քաղաքագետը, ավելացնելով, որ եթե հանկարծ միջուկային զենք ունեցող Ռուսաստանին ինչ-որ բան դու չգա, ապա «կխփի, հետո ինչ կլինի, կլինի»:

Must be one of the most delusional statements I came across.We can spin this up in "pro-Armenian" view but fact is Turkey building bases in N will become direct threat to Armenia and Artsakh.

Azeris already have troops training with Turkish officers in N.

What is astonishing to me how this "expert" thinks otherwise.
